Question: How does the reservation process work? Answer: Once you have decided which puppy is perfect for you, there is a $300 deposit that must be paid. You will receive a deposit contract to sign via email. After these two things are complete, the puppy is officially yours and the balance on your baby is due at pick up.
Question: How do I pay a deposit? Answer: You will recieve a deposit invoice via email. It can be paid with a credit/debit card, Cashapp, Zelle, or with cash or a check.
Question: Can I pay the balance on my puppy before pickup? Answer: It is preferred that you pay the balance on your puppy at pick up in cash. If you need to pay earlier, please discuss this before sending payment.
Question: What all will my puppy go home with? Answer: Your puppy will go home with a puppy pack that includes everything they need to get started, and a folder of papers. Exception: If the price of your baby is reduced to $1,000 or less, they will go home with a bag of food, canned food, and their folder of papers.
Question: What all is included in the puppy pack? Answer: The puppy pack comes with a tote for toys, a small blanket, a starter pack of puppy pads, a good quality harness and leash, a collar, a bag of food, canned food, a lid for the cans, a bottle of puppy shampoo, a dog bed, and toys. A picture is posted at the top of this page. Items are subject to change due to availability. Question: What kind of food will my puppy be on? Answer: Your baby will go home eating Purina Pro Plan Puppy food for small breeds and Purina One Puppy canned food.
Question: Can I switch my puppies food after they get home? Answer: We strongly suggest that you keep your baby on the same food at least until they finish the bag they go home with. If you choose to switch foods after that, then slowly mix the new food into the old food so they can transition slowly.
Question: What do I need to get to prepare for my baby to come home? Answer: We suggest getting a small play yard for your puppy so they have a safe place to play. This will keep them safe while they are small, and help with potty training.
Question: Are yorkies easy to potty train? Answer: Nope, not at all.
Question: Why are there different sizes of yorkies? Answer: Yorkies were originally 20 pound dogs. Over the years they were bred down to be smaller. Because of this, their genes produce different sizes.
Question: How long do yorkies live? Answer: Yorkies will generally live 12-15 years. They can live as long as 20 years old.
Question: How often do I need to get my yorkie groomed? Answer: Yorkies with a long coat need to be brushed daily. All yorkies should be bathed every 3-4 weeks, and should be groomed every 8-12 weeks.
Question: Can I groom my yorkie myself? Answer: Absolutely!
Question: Can I visit to see the puppies before I place a deposit? Answer: Sure! Families are always welcome to visit and/or video chat to see the puppies.
Question: Do you deliver or meet if we aren't local? Answer: We sure do! We can meet up to three hours away from Springfield, MO.
Question: Do you ship your puppies? Answer: We do not ship the puppies. We can meet at the airport and have your puppy ready to fly home with you.
Question: What's the difference in the traditional colored yorkies and the different colored ones? Answer: Nothing, just their color!
Question: Do I get to name my baby? Answer: Yes! The names we use on this website are for advertising purposes. We don't actually call the puppies by those names. You get to choose your babies name!
